Each drum captured with multiple microphones for tonal variety [see below], and all samples are unprocessed with no EQ or compression, so they are ready for you to mix. Includes TCI files for Slate Trigger 2 users, and WAV files for use in any sampler.

All snare drums recorded with brand-new Evans HD Dry top heads.

Miked with Shure Beta 52 inside, Solomon LoFreq sub mic outside, and Warm Audio WA47jr outside through Golden Age PRE573 Neve-style preamps, and Slate ML-2 modeling microphone outside through Slate VMS One preamp, using Slate S12 mic emulation and FG73 preamp emulation. Recorded with a brand-new Evans EMAD Heavyweight batter head.
Pearl Master Series Custom 10”, 12”, 14” rack toms, and 16” and 18” floor toms (2 velocity levels, 5 round robins). Miked with Lewitt 340TT, Sennheiser MD421mkII, and Sennheiser D112 through Golden Age PRE573 Neve-style preamps, and Slate ML-2 modeling microphone through Slate VMS One preamp, using Slate S-Custom mic emulation and FG73 preamp emulation. Recorded with brand-new Evans G2 top heads.
The WAV files also include a dry version of all Slate ML-2 recordings for those who prefer the clean sound, or who own the Slate Classic Instruments plugin and want to make their own samples using other microphone and preamp models.
Warm Audio WA84 overhead/room mic through Golden Age PRE573 also included for each drum.
